Born and raised in Bronx, NY, Alex Acosta is a multi platinum music video director who has over 15 years of film experience with an ingenious shooting style that blurs the creative lines between music videos, TV Production & feature film production.
As head of his own production company,Prestige FilmWorks, Alex's skill behind the lens has taken him to over 25countries across the world, capturing and documenting the success of such platinum recording artist, public figures, & actors such as Michelle Obama, Flo Rida, Kelly Roland, Rick Ross, Angie Martinez, Chris Brown, Marsai Martin, The City Girls, Diddy, August Alsina, Amanda Seales, Jadakiss, Jason Derulo, Tramar Braxton, Gorilla Zoe, Juicy J,& Cassidy just to name a few.
With directorial work showcasing on REVOLT,BET,MTV, FUSE, ESPN, NBC and ABC Alex has produced corporate and social media marketing campaigns that have appeared on Jimmy Fallon, The Today Show, GoodMorning America, and Jimmy Kimmel.
