Stanley Mathabane

Stanley ("Stan") Mathabane is an actor, sound designer, and music producer based in Brooklyn, NY. He studied Acting and Sound Design for Theater at Princeton University with professor/professional actor Mark Nelson. Stan's passion for theatre and music has led him to perform on stage at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, multiple off-Broadway Theaters, and on tour around the United States. Stan also is credited as an instrumentalist (saxophone) on Esperanza Spalding's (two time) Grammy Award Winning album Radio Music Society. Stan is also a recording artist, writing and performing original music under the stage-name "SunSon". He publishes his music through his publishing company SunSon Records LLC, of which he is CEO. As of September 2020 Stan lives in New Haven where he studies Sound Design as a part of the Yale School of Drama's MFA Program.
