  • Trivia
Apart from designing for theater and film Slavna Martinovic is still a fashion addict at heart and nurtures and designs a very special clothing and jewelry line. Drawing the inspiration from her Eastern European roots and mixing it with old Hollywood glamour and a twist of Hong Kong eclectics, Slavna Martinovic creates a world of unique fashion fineries. Her delicate garments created in "point lace" and crochet techniques can take up to 200 hours of dedicated handwork to complete. She also designs an ongoing sustainable collection of "one of a kind" wearables using period hand crochet lace pieces. The jewelry line "Bijoux de Luxe" is produced in the same spirit as the garments. Each piece of jewelry is hand crafted using finest new and vintage crystal. The line debuted at the Berlin Fashion Week in 2008 and was featured in Vogue, Vanity Fair, Bunte, Another Magazine online, Teen Vogue and many other online and printed publications. The collection was also a part of the book "Backstage Fashoin Week Berlin" by teNeues publishing.
