Alexandra Zayas

Alexandra Zayas was born to Elio and Aida Zayas on December 7, 1982 in
Miami, Florida. The oldest of 2 children, (her younger brother, Nicky,
is two years younger and is a Film Major at Florida State University)
Alexandra was raised in a very loving, nurturing and protective home.
She attended St. Theresa's elementary school in Coral Gables, Florida
and then went to Lourdes Academy for High School. There, she met her
best friend, mentor and inspiration, Tarah Rogowski in a computer
class. A conversation was struck over their mutual love of David
Duchovny and the Spice Girls and a life-long friendship was born. Over
the course of her high school career, Alexandra became one of the most
popular and sought after young writers after her many articles in the
Lourdes newspaper, "The Grotto" were seen by the Miami Herald and the
Sun-Sentinel. Alexandra is also known for writing a novel chronicling
her predictions for the end of the world in a fictional story. She is
also an amateur song writer. Alexandra Zayas is currently studying
journalism at the University of Miami where she occasionally writes
for "The Hurricane" and handles public relations for the sports
community. It was through the University of Miami that she starred in
her big screen debut _Each Time I Kill (2002)_. This beautiful scene stealer is currently
working on starting a magazine for the intellectual, yet not
presumptious, college student.
