Rohit Dey(I)

Rohit Dey was born on 29th December, 1997 in Kolkata (West Bengal) to a psychologist mother and government employee father. He was brought up in the city of joy Kolkata. He went on to graduate in English Literature & Language Hons. from the University of Calcutta in 2019. The friendships he made in his adolescent years and college days as well, shaped his life and decisions for a future as a full-time writer. After working in several eminent theater productions of some notable theater groups in Kolkata, he went on to chase his dream of becoming a film maker and writer. His first exposure to the "film industry" came in with much-acclaimed indie film 'Rainbow Jelly' where he worked as the social media manager. Rohit then went on to work as an assistant director in several Bengali films and television projects, while doing his job quite efficiently in the previously mentioned role he also entered the Bengali film industry as a story, screenplay and dialogue writer.
