Samira Alaouie is a First-Generation Lebanese American Comedian, Actor, and Writer with a background in Chicago Improv, Marketing, and Feng Shui (put a bubbling fountain in the east of your living room this year for abundance!). She has been selected as an Emerging Voice by NBC after studying and performing comedy in Chicago at Second City, iO, ComedySportz, and Annoyance. She has written, directed, produced, edited, cast, and been a positivity cheerleader for over a dozen comedy shorts, as well as writing and performing sketches on stage, and taking on various production and acting roles for others' shorts and sketches. She attributes her success to watching many many many hours of television...which is what she tells her family who question her tv watching habits and her choices in life.
