Germaine Franco is a Grammy-winning and Oscar-nominated composer, music producer, and percussionist known for her innovative contributions to film, television, concerts, and interactive media. She is the first woman to score a Disney animated feature with Encanto. Franco has collaborated with many award winning directors including Carlos López Estrada, Niki Caro, Tina Gordon, James Bobin, Laura Terruso, Trish Sie, Adrian Molina, Lee Unkrich, Steve Hickner, Jared Bush, and Byron Howard.
Germaine's notable projects include Netflix's The Mother, Someone Great, Work It, Warner Brothers Tag, Disney's Coco, Paramount's Dora and the Lost City of Gold, Universal's Little, hit TV shows like Vida, and The Casagrandes, and the Kung Fu Panda immersive theme park attractions for Universal Studios in Hollywood and Beijing.
