Landon is one of the community leaders seeking to rebuild an active film-making presence in Beaufort, SC where great classic films have been made such as "The Big Chill", The Great Santini", "Prince of Tides", and "Forrest Gump". A committed sponsor of the Beaufort International Film Festival, Landon energetically supports the festival's mission to grow awareness of the South Carolina Lowcountry as an ideal venue for film-makers. Landon is a former US Marine officer and is a multi-lingual, outdoorsman, skier, pilot, writer, dog lover, hobby farmer, and avid conservationist.
