Kickstarter launched for Power of Greyskull: The Definitive History of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe

The team behind Turtle Power: The Definitive History of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Nintendo Quest have teamed up to launch a brand-new Kickstarter for Power of Greyskull: The Definitive History of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe.

Here’s the press release:

“Power Of Grayskull” will be the greatest, most Definitive documentary on everything He-Man, Masters of the Universe and She-Ra, featuring interviews with writers, designers, artists, sculptors, show-runners, decision-makers and more. This feature documentary will delve into the toys, comics, cartoons, and movies from all eras by talking to the people who helped make it a reality, co-directed by lifelong Masters of the Universe fan Rob McCallum (“Nintendo Quest”), and pop culture junkie Randall Lobb (“Turtle Power”).

This year, Fantasia doubled the number of documentaries in their Documentaries From The Edge series from five to ten. Justine has already raved about The Mechanical Bride and I intend to write very positively about Despite the Gods and My Amityville Horror when I get a chance to devote the time to the reviews that they deserve…

Toy Masters, on the other hand, is my biggest disappointment of this year’s Fantasia Festival. It’s almost not fair to review the film, it is such a work in progress.
