Anne Cross
Pippa Nixon trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, offering next memorable performances such as in Roy Williams's "Days of Significance" in 2007 (commissioned by the Royal Shakespeare Company and based on William Shakespeare's "Much Ado About Nothing") directed by Maria Aberg (at the Swan Theatre in Stratford-Upon-Avon before moving to the Tricycle Theatre in London) and in "The Merchant of Venice" at Shakespeare's Globe in London, where she was commended in the Ian Charleson Awards for her portrayal of Jessica. In 2009, Nixon worked with Brooke Kinsella in "S-27" and in 2010 she delivered a moving interpretation in the title role of "Bea" in the Soho Theatre production, which was written for her by the director and playwright Mick Gordon after seeing her in "S-27". Among others, her notable stage work in prolific plays also includes an acclaimed production of Alexi Kaye Campbell's "Sunset at the Villa Thalia" premiered in London at the National Theatre of Great Britain in May 2016, directed by Simon Godwin together with Ben Miles, Elizabeth McGovern, Sam Crane, Christos Callow, Glykeria Dimou and Eve Polycarpou in the brilliant cast.
