He was awarded the highest rank of the Boy Scouts of America, the rank
of Eagle, in Wisconsin and has an official "Sean McNally" day given to
him by the governor, which is customary for anyone receiving the rank
of Eagle. Along with this he wrote letters to people he admired so they
could write back with respect for his achievement. Among one of those
who wrote back was his favorite director, Steven Spielberg, a fellow
scout as well.
