Frydman Jacob
Jacob Frydman is a New York-based real estate developer and investor who is investing in commercial real estate projects in the East Coast of the United States from the past 30 years and more. His popular real estate investments in New York are the acquisition of the Global Crossing building from Goldman Sachs, and acquisition of 500 Tenth Avenue, later on, he re-constructed them into the DHL Center in Manhattan.
Jacob Frydman is born on 5 September 1957 in New York City, United States. He is raised and living in the same. Frydman was born to a Jewish family, the son of Lea (née Fishman) and Michel Frydman. He has a B.S.(Bachelor of Science) in Finance from Boston University and a J.D.(Juris Doctor) from Case Western Reserve University School of Law.
From an early age Jacob had an interest in construction as his father owned a construction company in New Jersey. He is married twice. Elyse J. Frydman was his first wife who he married in 1984 later in 1997 they divorced. In 1998 Frydman married another woman Monica Libin, She is his preset wife. He had two children from his first wife.
Frydman has spent the majority of his career focused on great value-added investments based on his strengths in structuring, financing, developing, and executing highly complex real estate transactions. It is assumed Mr. Frydman has invested in or advised on more than $2 Billion of real estate transactions till the middle of 2019. Mr. Frydman has participated as a speaker and panelist at numerous industry seminars, where he speaks on matters relating to real estate investments, structuring, and development of real estate properties and more. The Notable deal of Jacob was Two Dag Hammarskjöld Plaza, which was an office condominium tower in midtown Manhattan, the old tower was used by foreign governments for their missions to the United Nations, and redeveloping the Aetna Building in lower Manhattan's financial district. He acquired the unfinished Global Crossing New York headquarters from Goldman Sachs in mid-2000 and repositioned it as an office tower. He purchased the NBC News New York television studios from NBC's parent, General Electric, and then entered into an agreement with Procter & Gamble, where he produced the long-running TV show "As the World Turns" from 1999 to 2010. Mr. Frydman acquired 500 Tenth Avenue in Manhattan which he successfully redeveloped into the DHL Center.
