Marcus Gwyn-Neumann

Marcus Gwyn-Neumann started working in film sound at The Dark Studio Sound Company in Toronto during the summer of 2017, under the tutelage of Grant Edmonds. At the time he was a student at Queen's University, studying in The Department of Film and Media. Between semesters he would return home to hone his skills as a sound effects editor. Upon having completed his degree, Marcus took on a full-time position at The Dark Studio and began expanding his skill set, learning how to edit dialogue and music, as well as mixing for clients at the studio.
Marcus has worked on a variety of projects, ranging from documentary to drama. His most notable contributions so far have been in the thriller TV series Paranormal Nightshift (2020), Hotel Paranormal (2020) and Haunted Hospitals (2018), the documentaries Coppers (2019) and #Blessed (2020), and in the iconic History Channel show American Pickers (2010).
