Paola Matienzo was born in Argentina. She studied in the University of Salvador, graduating in social communication. At the same time, she also took classes in interpretation with Rubén Shumacher, staging with Ricardo Bartis, and dramaturgy with Rafael Spregelburg.

In theater she worked in more than 20 plays in Argentina, Spain and the United States with directors such as Josep María Miró and Julián Fuentes Reta, among others.

In Europe she trains with directors like: Asghar Farhadi, José Carlos Plaza, Pablo Remón, Gracia Querejeta, Miguel Albadalejo, Cesc Gay, Roger Gual, Carlos Sedes, Mariano Barroso, David Serrano, Benito Zambrano, Luisa Armenteros, Javier Daulte, Miguel Narros y Tamzin Townsend. And Worked in more than 20 plays as an actress and director.

In 2009 she created AZarte, a place of creation, production and exhibition in Madrid, in which she is now Director and programmer.
