Rodolfo Alvarado is a Latinx writer originally from Texas and now living in Michigan. He is an eclectic writer whose award-winning fiction and non-fiction have appeared in literary journals, academic and popular presses, as well as on stage and film. He turned to screenwriting on a full-time basis in May 2020. In Jan. 2021, he optioned his limited series, The Voice of Santa Anita, to Turn Left Productions. His recent screenplays have also been named finalist and semi-finalist in a number of the nation's leading screenplay competitions. He is currently in discussions with a number of producers for the rights to Undesirable, a screenplay based on the life of Anthony Acevedo, a WWII medic who was the first Mexican American to register as a Holocaust survivor.
