Alan McKenna is a freelance video/film producer, director, and writer based in his hometown of Nashville, TN.
After his degree in television production from M.T.S.U., Alan immediately started to hone his skills working with production management teams on the sets of high-profile country music videos such as Reba McIntyre, Toby Keith, Pam Tillis, Alan Jackson, Marty Stuart, Tracy Lawrence and many others. He produced and directed the TV pilot, "Partners In Design" for HGTV starring Jennifer O'Neill, and aided with production in numerous commercials and short films around the city including his own.
Alan's career also had extensive stops along the way with two advertising agencies acting as Creative Director, Senior Producer, and Brand Manager. He worked exclusively as lead Producer/Director with many clients nation-wide involving various productions including commercials, promos, long form content, and web series.
More recently, Alan has produced three major projects for Uproar Pictures: television pilot "Wrestling Amateur Kaos," the psychological horror feature film, "The Odds," (North America and Japan distribution) and the horror feature, "Gates of Flesh" scheduled to be released in 2022. He currently is developing the psychological horror "Wish Worm," and the crime/thriller, "Execution Game."
