Canadian actress, Yalda Homayoun, was born on July 9 2002. She considers both Toronto and Vancouver home. Yalda is a dedicated and passionate emerging actress, wrapping up her first feature film, In Her City, by Canadian director Carl Bessai.
Yalda is a well-rounded actress working and training across many platforms like film, TV, and theatre. She delivers her utmost in every performance and character, not limited to any specific genre. Studying at Armstrong Acting Studios in Toronto, and TVI Actors Studio in Los Angeles, Yalda has been equipped to explore and pursue film and TV with professionalism and dedication.
In addition to spending a substantial amount of hours training in front of the camera, Yalda is also a dedicated and trained singer and songwriter. Studying at Big Voice Studio in Toronto, she wrote her own original song for her first feature film collaboratively with her coach Denielle Bassels. She is also a trained dancer, taking her first ballet class at the age of three. She has trained in contemporary, ballet, modern dance, jazz, and musical theatre internationally.
She has been a key collaborator with the Canadian Opera Company in Toronto as part of her endeavors towards giving back to the community that she loves so much.
