Amy is a BAFTA nominated* Director, and Writer, Producer and Assistant Director working across Features and HETV. Since studying Music and Theatre in the 1990's, she has gone on to write and direct a series of award winning short films as well as developing a successful career as an Assistant Director on a diverse range of British and International features and drama. In 2018 she was selected for the BBC / Director's UK Development scheme which led to directing 10 episodes of 'Doctors' for BBC1. She directed the closing 5 episodes of season 1 of the BAFTA CYP nominated* teen sci-fi drama 'Silverpoint', and has recently returned as Lead Director to helm a further 5 episodes of season 2.
She was selected for BAFTA Connect in 2022/23, following on from two years in BAFTA Crew, and is a mentee on the prestigious 2021 BAFTA mentorship scheme, working with writer / show runner Francesca Gardiner (His Dark Materials, Killing Eve).
Amy's queer black comedy HETV drama series 'Vaginatown' is in script development with Gaze Pictures, and she is attached to Direct several Feature projects.
