Cori Gonzalez-Macuer was born in Santiago, Chile and migrated to Wellington, New Zealand as a 6 year old. He is a stand-up comedian who has performed all over the world including the U.K, U.S, South America and as far as the Middle East. Known for his deadpan and sarcastic humour, Cori has won several awards including the prestigious Billy T James Award, handed out to NZ's most promising young comedian as part of the New Zealand International Comedy Festival. He has also worked on several TV shows as an actor, writer, presenter and panelist. He divides his time between Wellington and Auckland and is preparing for upcoming shows in L.A and New York.

Grew up playing representative soccer in New Zealand, eventually moving back to his native Chile once he finished high school to trial and train with local pro teams, but this was cut short due to injury. He returned to NZ to pursue his university studies.
Has a BA in FIlm from Victoria University in Wellington.
Speaks fluent Spanish.
