Luise Großmann

Luiii (Luise Grossmann) is a German actress, writer, and producer working between Berlin and Los Angeles. She began her acting journey with intensive training at Cologne's renowned Theater der Keller, where she developed a deep passion for complex characters and emotionally driven storytelling. Before fully dedicating herself to filmmaking, she had a successful career as a competitive pole vaulter - a chapter that still informs her work through body awareness, discipline, and relentless drive. In 2019, Luiii moved to Berlin and co-founded Hello Moment Productions, a company committed to bold, character-centered stories. She gained early recognition through leading roles in acclaimed TV shows and independent films, including What Costs Your Fear?, which screened at several international festivals in 2021. Her breakthrough came with Leberhaken, a raw and intimate drama that she also executive produced. The film opened the International Film Festival Oldenburg and became one of the first German Paramount+ Originals. Since 2022, she has expanded her career internationally. In Uppercut - the American adaptation of Leberhaken - she stars alongside Golden Globe winner Ving Rhames, Joanna Cassidy, and Emmy nominee Jordan E. Cooper. Distributed by Lionsgate, the film opened in select US theaters in early 2025.
