Derek Luh was born in Santa Clarita, California. Luh first broke onto the music scene in 2013 with his debut mix-tape, creating a noteworthy buzz as a savvy lyricist with a signature flow. Overcoming struggles in and out of the studio, Derek has released five projects in five years; with 2018's *For Your Consideration* showcasing his transformation into a mature, yet addictive new sound.
In between the studio and stage, Derek has built a strong following amassing more than 500k fans across verified platforms and has participated in multiple brand campaigns that include Diesel, Armani Exchange, Lacoste and many more.
The major turning point in his evolving career came with his first guest star appearance in Marvel's "Runaways" for ABC/Hulu, followed by a recurring guest star on "All Rise" for CBS and most recently his 6 episode recurring guest star arc as Ryan on "Shining Vale" for Starz.
Luh is pivoting his creative talents to Acting and has fully immersed into the craft.
