Ahsabul Yamin Riad

Ahsabul Yamin, a young filmmaker, born and raised in Rajshahi, Bangladesh. A city located on the alluvial plains of Padma River. Ahsabul is a writer and director.He has been involved in filmmaking since 2016. He is currently completing his graduation from Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University on Film and Media Studies. He made his first film "Lost Stories" out of the desire to tell a story like his own. He maintains his filmmaking practice by watching movies.Movies helps him to hybrid his thoughts and bring out unique and original ideas.His craze of storytelling compels him tell stories in a different way, in his own way. He's interested in working with new ways to rethink and explore cinema genres like thriller, drama, comedy.

His films has been shown at National and International Festivals and art spaces like Indie Short Fest, Los Angeles, Rome Independent Film Festival, Lift Off Sessions 2019, Chayachobi Film Festival, Sylhet International Film Festival, North South University International Film Festival.His 3rd short film "Bish Pipra" nominated best short film in Hollywood Venus Award 2020.
