Teressa Gehrke is an award-winning American singer, songwriter, recording artist, voiceover actress, and entertainer. She performs children's music as Teressa G & The Monkeys. Her debut children's album, "Hippity Hop Pop" was released in October 2019. Her kid's music video, "Tub Soup (The Bath Time Song)" received the 2019 Gold Award from International Independent Film Awards; won Best Music video from Virgin Spring CineFest 2020; Outstanding Achievement Award - Tagore International Film Awards 2020; and Best Children Short - Independent Shorts Awards 2020.
She also performs as Qwehrke, a mix of electro-pop, synth, alternative music, hip-hop, and R&B music. She debuted her first EP, "Bright Trilogy" in February 2019. She followed it with two singles, "Summer Madness" and "Human", which takes on the important issue of global warming, climate change, and social injustices.
She attended the University of Denver and graduated with a B.A. in Anthropology and Art History. She earned a Master of Arts in Genetic Anthropology and International Development from Colorado State University. After graduation, she pursued advanced education and a career in cyber security. She is the Founder and CEO of the cyber security awareness company for kids, PopCykol.
