Michael Sean McGuinness was born in Corning, New York and grew up in
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
He earned a BFA in Acting from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and also studied with famed acting teacher Stella Adler.
In his career as an actor in New York and regional theatres, he played such roles as Iago in "Othello", Andrei in "The Three Sisters" and Algernon in "The Importance of Being Earnest" at such as theatres as The Classic Stage Company, The Pearl Theatre Company, The Philadelphia Drama Guild, Portland Stage Company and A Noise Within.
Film and television appearances include: Terry Tate, Office Linebacker (2002), Law & Order (1990) Guiding Light (1952) and As the World Turns (1956).
