Arif Sonnet is a Dhaka-based film director, and producer working in the Bangladeshi entertainment industry for almost 10 years. His recent film under the designation of a Producer is Prem Puran AKA Myth of Love (2019). Arif Sonnet also participated in the making of Janmasathi AKA Born Together (2016), a documentary based on the Liberation War of Bangladesh, which won a National Award for Best Documentary, also the documentary Indian Frontier Railways (2015) for BBC. Another notable work is Chacha Bahinir Ajob Kahini (2018), a 3D animated Web film series. Born in Dhaka, Arif Sonnet loved to tell stories since his early childhood. As a result of his fondness, he graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Filmmaking from the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh in 2013. Arif Sonnet's previous work experience includes his employment at Ekattor Media Ltd 71 Television and collaborations with The Daily Juantar, Filmshop, and GEONICS. Arif Sonnet is working with MVRK Studios Ltd., Magenifire Creatives as a Freelance Director and producer.
