Eleonora Matrisciano is an Italian actress born in the rural town of Rovereto, Italy on November 21, 1994. She has one older sibling and theatre play-writer and director Alessia Matrisciano.
Matrisciano began acting as a child in local theatre productions, at the age of 18 she moved to United Kingdom to pursue an acting career. She began studying at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and started working on minor independent films, musicals and theatre productions in London. In 2014 she played the character of Irina, in a modern adaption of The Three Sisters by Anton Chekhov. Appeared in a minor role in the short film Play On! (2015) and the following year landed the role of Josephine in the musical Urinetown (2018). The same year she was cast for a production adaptation of the Lady From the Sea starring as Ellida. In 2019 Matrisciano had her short film debut and starred as Veronica Cartwright in the thriller Blue, directed by Massimiliano Folgheraiter. The release was later selected at the Rome Prisma Independent Film Awards for several Awards. In that summer began the filming of the Blue sequel, Clickbait in which she starred as the main role of Nora.
Matrisciano's last and most anticipated work to date yet is the Musical Drama The Voice Within My Silence, starring as Alice Plate, a young aspiring singer that eventually loses her voice.
