Renee Logan is an American multi-genre writer of screenplays and novels. She draws upon her background in High Performance Computing and Defense Intelligence to create unique perspectives to her stories which she combines with far-reaching life experiences to create authentic characters. She gravitates toward action, suspense, crime, conspiracy, thriller, sci-fi, and drama, but has also enjoyed writing romance and comedy.
Renee wrote the psychological drama/horror "Turncoat".
Renee co-wrote the coming-of-age drama "Three Days from Queens" with actor Rocco Parente (Elsbeth, Kaleidoscope, Boardwalk Empire, A Bronx Tale).
Renee wrote the screenplay for "The Prussian" - a WWII action focusing on the German/Russian front, and is honored to be a part of the talented team bringing this moment in history to life.
Renee worked as a script consultant on the action/sci-fi/thriller "Vril" for director Christian Pichler (Rocky Balboa, The Island, The Astronaut Farmer, Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines), and later re-teamed with Christian to co-write the supernatural horror "Don't Wake Up".
Multiple festivals and competitions have recognized Renee's work including the Pasadena International Film Festival where her action screenplay "The Whittling" was a finalist for Best Screenplay, and the Los Angeles International Screenplay Awards where both her dystopian/suspense "J159" and her contained action "The Diner" were selected as semi-finalists.
Renee has also worked as a script consultant and writer-for-hire in genres including action, sci-fi, thriller, drama, and faith-based films.
