There are a lot of hardcore 'Napoleon' fans, and they do the research and find photos of what I look like when I'm not 'Kip-ified.' Those fans recognize me. It happens maybe once a week, where someone will come up to me and be, like, 'Dude, you're Kip.' And I'm, like, 'Yeah, my name's Aaron.'
Got his start as a still photographer. He directed the title sequence of Napoleon Dynamite
(2004). He also directed the hilarious Powerade commercial showing the Amish drag race between two hay bale-carrying, horse-drawn carts. The commercial was pulled from the air due to a lawsuit between Pepsi (which owns Gatorade) and Coca-Cola (which owns Powerade). Coke settled out of court.
