Nobuaki Kakuda is an actor, known for The Wolverine (2013), Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack (2001) and Godzilla: Final Wars (2004).

A former fighter in K-1 kickboxing. He is now a referee and regent of the organization.
Is the only man to lose to former Sumo champion, Taro Akebono in K-1 competition.
Is one of the senior member of the prestigious Seidokaikan Shihan Dai Dojo.
Is also an accomplished Tango and Rumba dancer and was featured several times on the famous Japanese TV Show "Shall We Dance".
Was a very close friend of late K-1 champion Andy Hug.
Lost to Karate legend Hiroki Kurosawa (via decision) under Kyokushinkai rules on Pride Fighting Championship 6.
Won his fight against American kick boxer Mavrick by a lightning KO on K-1 GP 2005 in Paris, France.
Retired Seidokaikan Karateka and Kickboxer. He has black belts with a 6th Dan in Seidokaikan and a 2nd Dan in Shorinji Kempo.
He speaks Japanese, English, French, Thai, and Korean.
Kakuda repeatedly set Guinness world records for breaking the most wooden baseball bats with his shin in one minute: 27 bats in 2001, 33 in '02, and 54 in '09. His record was eventually beaten by German martial artist Kerim Duygu, who managed to break 65 bats in 2017.
