Mike Topel

Mike Topel was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and grew up on a farm in Watertown, Wisconsin. He lives in Austin, Texas.
He's a second-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. He's been a dance instructor, judge and coach since 1994, specializing in West Coast Swing and American social dancing such as Cha Cha, Salsa, Nightclub Two-Step, Country Two-Step, Waltz and Hustle.
He studied improv comedy at ColdTowne Theater in Austin, Texas, graduating in Advanced Studies in 2018. He became a cast member of ComedySportz Austin in November 2017, where he performs as a player and as announcer. He co-founded and performs with an Austin, Texas, improv comedy troupe called Dog Joggers, since 2017.
