Alejandra Armijo, originally from La Paz, Bolivia, began her filmmaking journey in Los Angeles in 2018, enrolling at The Los Angeles Film School. In 2020, she was selected for an internship program at The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Alejandra has edited various projects, including the documentary "John's Ultimate Illusion" and short films like "Sunnyville," "Andromeda," and "The Qingming Kid." Notably, her work on "Skin" received the Gold Medal at the 2023 Student Academy Awards and was showcased at the Oslo Fusion International Film Festival. With a master's degree in film editing from the American Film Institute, Alejandra recently completed her thesis films, "The Bullfighter" and "Bajo La Tierra." Currently, she is focusing on crafting more short films and working to get her first feature editing credit on "Tether."
