Elon Musk—who might possibly be the Slytherin of Silicon Valley—has struck again. Only this time, without saying a word. He simply shared a video on X featuring influencer Kaizen Asiedu calling out Hollywood’s latest spell gone wrong: Race Swap-iosa!

First, Rachel Zegler as a “Latina Snow White” left fans wondering if the Evil Queen had cursed the original story. And now, whispers of a Black Professor Snape are sending shockwaves through the Hogwarts Express. So finally, as the water went over the bridge, Elon Musk took to X to silently express his disappointment in Hollywood’s forced diversity.
HBO race-swapping Severus Snape has even got on Elon Musk’s nerves

Marvel Rivals is already chaos incarnate. Heroes are flinging each other across the battlefield, explosions are going off like a Fourth of July celebration, and Rocket Raccoon is probably yelling something about “inferior mammals.”
But just when you thought you’d mastered your favorite hero pairings, NetEase is about to flip the script. Starting in Season 2, team-up abilities are getting a shake-up, meaning some combos will vanish, some will evolve, and most importantly, new, game-breaking synergies will emerge.

And let’s be honest, you know you’re secretly hoping for that one absurdly overpowered team-up that makes everyone in the lobby rage quit. So, which duos could be coming next? And will they be absolutely ridiculous? Oh, you bet.

Once upon a time, Captain America: Civil War was just an idea in Joe and Anthony Russo's collective think tank. The 2016 film sees the Avengers divided into factions, with Captain America/Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) opposing legislation to regulate the heroes' actions and Iron Man/Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) supporting it. Matters are more complicated when Steve is forced to defend his lifelong best friend Bucky Barnes/the Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan), who was brainwashed into murdering many innocent people, including Tony's parents.
Interestingly, the brothers recently revealed the humorous story behind how they managed to get approval for as bold an idea as pitting the two biggest faces of the MCU against one another. In a new profile from The Hollywood Reporter, the Russos explained that they had two major hurdles in getting the pitch off of the ground.
Naturally, they had to convince MCU architect Kevin Feige.

Marvel Rivals has continued to dominate the hero-shooter landscape since its release this past December. The game’s combination of an Overwatch 6v6 format with a roster of the most popular pop-culture characters has managed to grab everyone’s attention.

Marvel Rivals debuted with 33 playable heroes, and NetEase has brought tons of new exciting additions to the game. Currently, gamers can’t help but wonder where the hero shooter’s roster might go next, but developer NetEase Games would make a massive blunder by not bringing one X-Men that has just been resurrected.

In Marvel Rivals—or any PvP shooter for that matter—the difference between securing that team wipe and becoming someone else’s highlight reel often comes down to one thing: aim. While flashy ultimates and team-up abilities might steal the spotlight, it’s your consistent shot placement that’ll carry you through those sweaty ranked matches.
Precision is your real superpower. | Image Credit: NetEase Games
That said, the game’s unique third-person perspective creates aiming challenges you won’t find in first-person shooters. Whether you’re flinging repulsor blasts as Iron Man or unleashing Hela’s “Nightsword thorns,” understanding the technical quirks behind aiming can transform your gameplay from frustratingly inconsistent to terrifyingly precise.
Tips to Get Better Aim in Marvel Rivals You might want to note these down. | Image Credit: NetEase Games

"Dammit, Hydra." One of the first major instances of Kevin Feige having to deal with a significant security snafu happened when the trailer for "Avengers: Age of Ultron" famously leaked online much too early and resulted in the official Marvel Twitter account tweeting out that hilarious two-word response. Over 10 years later, the studio once again had to do some damage control on an unexpected breach of their usually airtight firewalls. Recently, Marvel artist Mushk Rizvi posted (and quickly deleted) several pieces of concept art that quickly made the rounds on social media, purporting to showcase major spoilers from both "Avengers: Doomsday" and "Avengers: Secret Wars." Unlike last time, however, it would seem that Marvel's strategy is to deny that these have anything to do with the upcoming blockbusters at all.

Marvel has a pretty full slate in the upcoming years, and we're not talking about the movie landscape alone. The superhero giant is looking to leave its mark in the video game world as well, and the first step towards achieving that goal will come in the form of Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra. The highly-anticipated title was announced back in 2021 and quickly positioned itself as a must-play thanks to its amazing duo of protagonists and the fact that Amy Henning is in the director's chair. Her previous work in the Uncharted franchise alone is an indication that something special is on the horizon, even if not a lot has been revealed about the game itself.
Captain America and Black Panther will steal the spotlight on this upcoming adventure that looks to implement ground-breaking graphical technology. On the downside, we have yet to see a proper gameplay deep dive or get a release date.

In 2026 the Marvel Cinematic Universe will face its biggest threat yet during the events of Avengers: Doomsday. Worlds will collide and sacrifices will be made. So the best chance to stop the madness is for iconic heroes to come together and fight against the common enemy. The next chapters in the Avengers franchise saga, Doomsday and Secret Wars, have much to live up to, considering the impact of the last two sequels, Infinity War and Endgame. However, the film series' directors, Joe and Anthony Russo, believe the next two entries can "outdo" what the previous films delivered.

The Avengers from the Marvel Cinematic Universe are a powerful team of superheroes who have saved the world more than once, but there are several anime teams that can destroy them. Some of the strongest anime teams are comprised of villains who have no problem killing heroes, but there are heroic teams that can also destroy them, primarily because they are overpowered.

All the anime teams that can beat the Avengers have individuals with superhuman abilities that can decimate the Avengers' roster. These teams can take out The Hulk, Thor, and Captain Marvel, and they can bypass all the advanced tech and magic used by various Avengers.

Avengers: Doomsday is currently the most anticipated project in the MCU. As the first Avengers installment since Endgame, it will mark the beginning of the end for the MCU as we know it.
While the plot remains largely under wraps, it’s widely speculated that the film will adapt the Time Runs Out storyline, ultimately leading into Secret Wars.
Rumors suggest the movie will feature a vast array of characters, though only a few have been confirmed so far, including the Fantastic Four, Sam Wilson, Peggy Carter, Wyatt Russell, and, of course, Doctor Doom himself.
Recently some concept art shared by Marvel’s senior artist also confirmed various additional characters like Hulk, She-Hulk, Black Panther, Vision, Star-Lord and many more.

Recently some concept art shared by Marvel’s senior artist also confirmed various additional characters like Hulk, She-Hulk, Black Panther, Vision, Star-Lord and many more.

With more heroes confirmed for the next two Avengers sequels, Doomsday and Secret Wars, one major Black Panther character will reportedly feature in the Marvel Cinematic Universe blockbusters. Shuri, the latest to sport the Black Panther moniker, is seemingly set to appear in the upcoming Avengers movies.

It remains almost impossible to believe that Chadwick Boseman, the man who would be Black Panther in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is gone, even though it's been nearly five years since his tragic death from colon cancer. Boseman was only 43 years old when he died in the summer of 2020, and yet he'd left a permanent mark and legacy on the world of pop culture. The fact that he portrayed such an instantly beloved superhero played a huge part in crafting his legacy, of course, although Boseman's award-worthy performances in films like "42" (which paved the way for him to get the role of T'Challa) and "Ma Rainey's Black Bottom" went a long way towards proving that if he'd had the chance, he would have made an even bigger impact outside of the MCU thanks to his innate talent and charisma.

The basic concept of Marvel Rivals is very similar to some other hero shooters. However, its Team-Up Abilities feature is what makes it different. Since the game features many popular characters from the Marvel universe, the game allows two or more characters to combine their abilities into a strong single attack. NetEase Games has included some powerful team-ups, but it missed out on some obvious ones, for example, a team-up between Captain America and Bucky.

Yes, it’s disappointing that we didn’t get that team-up, however, players shouldn’t forgive NetEase Games for also not creating a team-up ability for Thor and Loki because it would’ve allowed players to recreate one of the most iconic scenes from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

If there’s one thing that the Marvel Cinematic Universe is majorly good at to a significant extent, it’s casting the right person for the right role. For one, it got away with one of the best casting of all time when it decided to go forward with the late legendary Chadwick Boseman for the role of Black Panther – a choice so iconic he continues to leave an indelible mark on fans worldwide.

But while Boseman was one, before him, the studio was reportedly eyeing a different actor to embody the respective character in another installment in Fox’s Fantastic Four film series. Per reports, the one considered for the role was none other than the fan-favorite Guardians of the Galaxy actor Djimon Hounsou. However, the said project could unfortunately never materialize.
Djimon Hounsou could have preceded Chadwick Boseman’s Black Panther Djimon Hounsou.

Marvel Television has reportedly paused its development of three projects: Nova, Strange Academy and Terror, Inc. The three shows may still be made in the future.
Deadline reports that Marvel's decision to pull back on the three series is due to a shift in the studio's model for producing television series. Sources stressed that Nova, Strange Academy and Terror, Inc. were "never officially greenlit," so they may still come to fruition down the road- but the studio has "shifted its priorities at the moment." Even if you're only vaguely familiar with pro wrestling, chances are you've heard of WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio. He's had an incredible in-ring career; after making his debut as a professional wrestler in 1989, he joined WCW in 1996 before signing with WWE in 2002.
He'd already found success in WCW's Cruiserweight division but was booked as a top star in WWE, winning the world title three times.
Mysterio left WWE in 2015 and worked for New Japan Pro Wrestling, Lucha Underground, and Aaa before returning to the company in 2018 where he's since been joined by his son, Dominik Mysterio.

No other hero-shooter games are dominating the industry right now like Marvel Rivals. But developing such a game comes with its own challenges, especially this one, where different skill sets might require the creators to put in extra effort to get it feeling just right.

Quick LinksWhy Phil Coulson Was Worthy of Captain AmericaHow Coulson Honored Captain America – Even Without His BlessingThe MCU May Have Robbed Coulson of an Iconic Moment
As Captain America: Brave New World soars toward cinemas, it is worth remembering a forgotten Marvel Cinematic Universe character, one who could have been the Captain America fans never got, yet would have been perfect for the role. Ever since Steve Rogers laid down his shield., many have debated who is brave, bold, and humble enough to carry on his legacy. While several characters have donned the red, white, and blue and been officially recognized as part of the Captain America family, one beloved figure was quietly overlooked: Phil Coulson. As strange as it may seem, Coulson embodied the very ideals of the Star-Spangled Man, carried Steve's legacy forward, and even built a heroic identity worthy of Captain America himself.

The following contains spoilers for Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 1, Episode 5, "The Unicorn Unleashed!," now streaming on Disney+.
Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man continues to introduce fresh versions of fan-favorite characters and alternate takes on familiar plots. For instance, the latest batch of episodes debuted new variations of Doc Ock, Scorpion and Unicorn. They also referenced the events of Captain America: Civil War, but as per usual, the animated series put its own twist on them. In this case, Peter Parker isn't directly involved in the Avengers' conflict, and even if he was, it seems he might have picked a different side than his Marvel Cinematic Universe counterpart.
Although the McU's Peter Parker was introduced as part of Iron Man's team in Captain America: Civil War, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man makes him more of a Steve Rogers fan. In fact, after Harry Osborn finds out his secret identity and...

As the rumor mill continues to swirl for Marvel Studios' upcoming X-Men reboot, the latest update comes to us from a more reliable source than an anonymous scooper as journalist Jeff Sneider (via The InSneider newsletter) is now reporting that Julia Butters (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood; The Gray Man; The Fabelmans) is being eyed for the role of Kitty Pryde in X-Men.
He also doubles down on his previous report that Sadie Sink (Stranger Things; The Whale; The Glass Castle) is the current frontrunner to land the role of Jean Grey, and adds that Harris Dickinson (Babygirl; The Iron Claw; The King's Man) is being looked to play the team's leader Scott Summers, a.k.a. Cyclops.
At the time of this posting, Butters is 15, Sink is 22, and Dickinson is 28, so Marvel definitely wants younger talent to take on these storied roles and likely play them for the next decade plus.

Last month, a rumor did the rounds that Marvel Studios was planning to recast the role of T'Challa, bringing a new actor in to play the McU's original Black Panther five years after the death of Chadwick Boseman.
The original report stated that Marvel is "looking to recast its Black Panther hero T'Challa ahead of the two Avengers movies and Ryan Coogler's Black Panther 3," but we would later hear that studio was actually in the process of casting an actor for the role of Black Panther's son (also named T'Challa), who was introduced at the end of Wakanda Forever.
Marvel's VP of Production & Development Nate Moore was asked about the possibility of a new T'Challa being introduced during an interview with ComicBook.com, and while he did initially appear to debunk the reports, it doesn't sound like the idea has been completely dismissed.
“The truth is, there’s no truth to those rumors.
