Bas Gijzen is a Dutch sound designer, dialogue editor and re-recording mixer.
In 2021 he graduated from the Netherlands Film Academy, after which he immediately started working as an in-house sound editor at Studio Vermaas in Amsterdam, where he honed his skills on high-profile projects. After 2 years he decided it was time for a change, and transitioned into freelance work, investing in his own studio located in Lisse. Bas is known for working on a variety of films and shows, ranging from Netflix's Dirty Lines (2022) , Disney+ series Nemesis (2024) , but also more experimental films like Psychonaut (2024)
