Jerry Bruckheimer TV Sets ‘Out The Door’ From Evan Katz & ‘Alibi’ Based On New Zealand Format At CBS
Exclusive: CBS has bought two more dramas from Jerry Bruckheimer Television, bringing to four the number of projects the company has sold to the network this cycle. Ten people arrive at a secluded mountain resort to find it completely deserted. With no gas for the return trip, the visitors are forced to stay and investigate the mystery surrounding the abandoned lodge. As their friends start disappearing for no apparent reason, tensions grow as the survivors try to figure out what is gong on, without disappearing themselves.
If there is one thing I have learned from watching horror films over the years, is that going to a secluded lodge which is ‘miles from anywhere’ may seem like a fantastic idea but it Never is. If you are low on fuel by the time you get there, you might as well just lie down on the floor and wait for the inevitable.

After all of the horror that I’ve taken in all these years, I don’t think that I could even begin to feel peaceful at a secluded cabin with a bunch of friends in tow. The adage “safety in numbers” seems to never, ever apply with recreational cohabitation in the wilderness. I’m not sure why, but it just happens to be a well documented fact in horror cinema. Slasher or supernatural, something that starts with an “s” is just going make methodical work of disposing of everyone. The previously mentioned cabin set up just happens to be the...

While the romance between Vincent and Catherine continues to be tested on Beauty and the Beast - by little things such as memory loss and beastly manipulations - watch for the twosome to take to the dance floor tonight.
Yes, Vincent and Cat will dance.
You’ll have to tune in for “Liar, Liar,” to know the full context of why they trip the light fantastic, but I have a feeling my fellow Beasties will love it no matter what.
I sat down with Jay Ryan last week in New York City to talk about this installment, along with what the changes in Vincent mean this season and how he ends up moving and grooving opposite his love interest. (To hear how Ryan is taking to being a dad in real life, check out my recent Notebook post). Scroll down for excerpts from this exclusive Q&A...

“The ratio is always the same.”
If you’re a science junkie like myself, then the opening sequence to Touch will quickly grab your attention. Jake Bohm (David Mazouz) narrates to a montage of images of the world, while giving a cursory introduction to chaos theory, probability, the red thread of fate and the Golden Ratio. Although Jake doesn’t go in to depth on any of these subjects, he makes you wonder how these four things will intertwine in Fox’s new show Touch.
It’s enough to pique your interest and possibly make you say, “Ooo, I wonder what this is about.”
Creator Tim Kring, the man behind Heroes, loves shows that deal with connections. In the first season of Heroes, everyone who had powers was somehow connected. In the opening moments of Touch, Jake states that he is the kid in charge of keeping track of the...

Touch TV Show Trailer. Francis Lawrence‘s Touch (2011) TV Show Trailer stars Kiefer Sutherland, Danny Glover, David Mazouz, Karen David, and Philip Shahbaz. Touch‘s plot synopsis: “Centers on a father who discovers his autistic, mute son can actually predict events before they happen.”
When I saw this I immediately thought of Knowing, The Mothman Prophecies, and the book Simple Simon. Knowing drowned itself by its third act, The Mothman Prophecies was surprising good, with a mix of the supernatural and thriller and Simple Simon was made into an average Bruce Willis film. Touch seems more action based with Kiefer Sutherland’s Martin Bohm going out on missions his son assigns him through his gift (watch the TV trailer, you’ll see).
Some believe this show has a few hurtles to overcome and I have to agree. Here are a few:
First, being as it’s on Fox and stars Kiefer Sutherland,...
