Michael Duffy(VI)

Michael Duffy was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. Following graduation from Oberlin College in 1980, Duffy went on to work as a staff writer at Defense Week prior to joining the staff of Time magazine as a Pentagon correspondent in 1985. Michael became Time's Washington Bureau Chief in 1997. In addition, Duffy has not only also served as both Nation Editor and Executive Editor at Time, but also has written over fifty cover stories and won the Gerald R. Ford Award for reporting in both 1994 and 2005 as well as shared with a team from Time the 1997 Joan Shorenstein Barone Prize for Investigative Journalism awarded by The Kennedy School of Government. Moreover, Michael is the co-author of the books "The Preacher and the Presidents: Billy Graham in the White House" and "The President's Club: Inside the World's Most Exclusive Fraternity." Duffy was a Ferris Professor of Journalism at Princeton University from 2006-2007. Married to Demetra Lambros, Michael is the father of three sons.
