Gessica Kayane

Gessica Kayane, better known by the stage name Gkay, is an actress, digital influencer, and comedian born in the Brazilian state of Paraíba. With a follower base of over 20 million on Instagram alone, she was featured on the Brazilian edition of Forbes' Under 30 list for 2020. On the same year, she won the Prêmio Jovem Brasileiro ("Young Brazilian Award") for Best Comedic Influencer. In 2022 she received the Miaw Icon award, the main category of MTV Brazil's Millennial Awards. Her career as an actress includes the feature film Carnaval (2021) and the series Unsuspicious (2022), both Netflix originals, as well as the Multishow comedy series Os Roni. She also hosts an annual birthday event entitled "Farofa da Gkay", a media success attended by a number of celebrities.
