Melissa Romero is a stage and film actress and musician. She studied Drama at the National University of Córdoba, complementing her training in Madrid at Lógica Escénica and Escuela para el Arte del Actor.
In film she played the lead role in "Atlántida", by Inés Barrionuevo, an art-house feature premiered at the Berlin Film Festival -for which she received the Special Mention Leading Actress at the Latin Film Festival in Toulouse-. She worked on several short films, among which "Swedish cuisine" by Inés María Barrionuevo (Berlinale / Best Short Film BAFICI), "Sírvase frío" and "Where you hidin'?", directed by Ben Vine.
She works as an actress and producer at the theater companies "Hipótesis Ficción" and "PRESENTE" in Madrid.
She is the keyboard player for LOCA!, an electronic music duo based in Madrid signed to Peer Music Spain.
