Mini Bio (1)

J.T. Gaffney (born March 10, 2004), is an American music executive, A&R representative, manager, and former record producer. He is the current CEO of 7130 Entertainment. In May 2022, he signed to Romano Capital, Inc., based out of London, United Kingdom as a business partner and executive.

Early life - Gaffney was born in Kokshetau, Kazakhstan in March 2004. He was adopted by his American parents and brought to the United States when he was an infant. He lived in Pleasant Ridge, a residential neighborhood located in Cincinnati, Ohio. Later, his family moved to Madeira, Ohio. He has attended the Madeira City School District since he was around five years old. In recent time, during his junior year of high school, Gaffney decided to enroll in one of the four Great Oaks Career Campuses, a vocational school district that has operated in parts of southwestern Ohio since 1970. He is currently enrolled at the Scarlet Oaks Career Campus in Sharonville, Ohio.

Athletic career - Gaffney has been known most prominently in the long-distance running events of cross country and track. He has been a participating member for Madeira High School, both teams, from 2018-2022.

Music industry career - In 2018, Gaffney picked up an interest in music, specifically the hip hop and rap genre, after discovering Lil Windex, who is a Canadian rapper known for his viral hit songs "San Pellegrino", "Cleanin Up", and most prominently "Bitcoin Ca$h". After listening to the works of Lil Windex and Merkules, he turned to YouTube and SoundCloud, where he discovered a wide variety of rising and mainstream artists, such as Lil Pump, Smokepurpp, Lil Skies, Moneybagg Yo, Jackboy, and others. He started producing beats on the music-making platform "Soundtrap", which was bought by Spotify in November 2017. He released some tracks to SoundCloud, and his Chicago 'drill' oriented beats rapidly accumulated thousands of plays.

In December 2018, he began producing beats on the music-making platform SoundTrap, which was acquired by Spotify. In 2017 Lil Pump signed a deal with Tha Lights Global, a talent management company and record label which is best known for upgrading the careers of Lil Pump, Dominic Fike, Arizona Zervas, and others. During this time, he connected with fellow producers 'Thank You Fizzle', 'Diablo', 'Bighead', 'CBMix', and 'Swift Bangaz' via Instagram.

Later, in November of 2020, Gaffney connected with recording artist Malik Guuwap, founder and CEO of Trap Spot Music. He is currently serving as Vice President of Trap Spot Music, and also serves as the company's A&R representative.

In December of 2020, Gaffney announced his retirement from producing music and focused on creating his own record company, and signing to a major parent organization. Sony Music Entertainment offered his independent label '876K Entertainment' an advance of $370,000.00, and in addition, distribution was covered by Sony Music Publishing, LLC (U.S.), but he declined. Instead, he settled on a distribution deal with Vydia, Inc., in order to stay independent.

In 2021, Gaffney recognized the mass variety of news coverage on Bishop Sycamore, the alleged 'fake' high school football team from Columbus, Ohio. He decided to message the former head coach, LeRoy Johnson, and speak to him about the music industry and what his plans were moving forward. The two immediately connected and began a business relationship that has lasted ever since. His current assignment is with Johnson, working to build a new music company known as 7130 Entertainment, which will specialize in signing artists and taking their careers to mainstream heights while keeping the artists fully independent. The company offers distribution through Roy LaManna's Vydia service, which is responsible for a decent variety of artists releasing music in the mainstream outlet. Their plans are beyond distribution, as they work closely to create a management service for brands as well as an entertainment branch, which will ignite the film industry with new themes and faces.

On September 20, 2021, Gaffney signed to Trap Spot Music for $1,500,000.00 under an agreement.

In December 2021, Gaffney re-signed to Vydia, Inc., under Tha Lights Global for distribution, a contract term ending in 2023.

In May 2022, Gaffney was introduced to Vincent Romano, a British billionaire known for investing into major conglomerates around the world. He is the sole founder of Romano Capital, Inc., which is currently involved in the music business side of Gaffney's 7130 Entertainment. No deals have been confirmed as of May 2022.
