Ian M Colletti or "Colletti" is a Native NYC Composer, Multi-Instrumentalist and Performer currently living and working in Los Angeles. He is known for his full feature score of the 2020 Emmy Nominated Netflix Feature "Circus of Books" produced by Ryan Murphy and directed by Rachel Mason, the Sundance Film Festival Best Short Film Nominee "Champ" (2022) by Hannah Peterson (Nomadland), and the "The Lizard Laughed" (2022) Noah Van Scriber graphic novella adaptation by director Allen Cordell where he is also an associate producer. Ian is founder and resident composer at The Army of One Productions Inc. film music & post audio company based in Los Angeles, NYC and London.
Ian has been a lifelong musical artist, bandleader and arts organizer in the NYC underground music scenes and experimental gallery world and had lasting endorsements such as New York Foundation for the Arts. He has been leader/ arranger in several bands (Colletti, Lost Animals, Auto-Matic Vaudeville, Angriest Pussycat), has been a band member in Jandek, a spotlight artist in The Brooklyn Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra for live film scoring, awarded multiple honorariums in the NYC Performa Biennial for live film scoring, and has been awarded long time sponsorship's such as New York Foundation for the Arts. His first film score at age 19, won him an award and was co-produced by a member of The Residents.
