The German-Mexican actor Matt Posada was born in Portland, Oregon, USA, and grew up in Paris and Frankfurt, Germany. He graduated with honors from the prestigious Institute of the Arts Barcelona in 2022.
Early in his career, Matt gained diverse stage and screen experience. His notable theater roles include Eric in An Inspector Calls, Lally in Vernon God Little, Jason in Ordinary Days, Kreon in Antigone, Captain Hook in Peter Pan, Jason in Sweat, and Roger Davies in TINA - The Tina Turner Musical.
On screen, he appeared in the film Die Letzte Mine. In 2025, Matt will star in the Spanish horror film Amigo Invisible, which will be released in cinemas and on streaming platforms.
Currently, he is performing as a Walk-In Cover for the roles of Christian and Duke in the Cologne production of Moulin Rouge! The Musical. In addition to acting, Matt is the co-founder and producer at Abeja Productions. Independently, he produced the short film Sweetness of Vacancy and also works as a voice artist.
