Bonnie Gillespie is living her dreams by helping others figure out how to live theirs.

She casts SAG-AFTRA indie feature films and series such as the Machinima zombie smash hit Bite Me (2010) which made the leap from web to TV with Lionsgate in its second season. Her work on this groundbreaking series led to her membership in the Television Academy.

As a weekly columnist for actors in publications such as Backstage and Actors Access for more than 15 years, Bonnie has also authored several books demystifying the casting process and illuminating the business side of pursuing a creative career. The most popular of these books is Self-Management for Actors: Getting Down to (Show) Business, which has been named one of The Top Ten Best Books on Acting Ever Written and is featured on the Tom Cruise actor resource blog.

She tours the world teaching curriculum based on this top-selling book as a guest instructor at colleges, universities, actors' unions, and private acting studios. She also works as a private coach to creatives eager to bring a sense of control and fun to their storytelling journeys.

Bonnie has been featured on Good Morning America, BBC Breakfast, Sunrise Australia, UTV-Ireland, ARD-1 Germany, CBC Radio One, BBC Radio 5, E! Online, Yahoo! Movies, and in the Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post, and the LA Times. Her podcast "The Work" is available on iTunes.

Bonnie lives in Santa Monica with her husband, actor and script doctor Keith Johnson.
