Nikita Nielsen is a South African born Animation Director and Writer primarily known for creating graphic and emotionally charged short films.
She attended AFDA Film School in Johannesburg where she focused on Animation Directing and Screenwriting, graduation with a Bachelors Degree in 2014. Nikita wrote and directed several short films during her time at AFDA, where she developed a keen passion for visual storytelling in the discipline of Animation.
After graduating she landed her first job as an animator and compositor where she quickly climbed the ranks to being a key member of the production crew responsible for creating characters, artwork, pitches and pilot episodes for a number of animated television shows and productions.
