Jackson Kang'ethe, a Kenyan Cinematographer, gained fame for collaborating with director Zippy Okoth on the award-nominated film Midlife Crisis (2020). He won Best Cinematographer in the 48hour film project (2021) for the movie Hypnagogia. Kang'ethe has worked on other short films like Contained (2020), Gatarashaine, Ka-nuthu, Sand Castles, and Uamuzi with Kigondu Martin and Nick Reding. He has been interested in filmmaking since the age of 13 and is passionate about telling genuine African stories that reflect African society. Kang'ethe has also contributed to Lusala (2019) as an AC and Bufis (2022) as a camera operator.
