As fresh as a private space program, and more productive than Pete Davidson's love life, Milan Skrecek's unique voice and innate ability to write evocative, compelling copy has earned him writing credits on award-winning projects for multinational brands NIKE, Nintendo, Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises, Cheech & Chong, LVMH, EFFY Jewelry, MuchMusic, Epic Rights and Rock Legends KISS. Yup, you read that right, KISS.
Within the past year, Milan has written 3 features, a short and one award-winning TV Pilot named "Shallow Depths". In January 2023, Milan optioned his spectacular Holiday Rom-Com named "A Caliente Christmas" and he is in pre-production to direct a short film being shot in Vancouver.
Milan Skrecek was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, the youngest of 3 children. Studying acting at the Vancouver Film School under the tutelage of seasoned actors like A.C. Peterson and Mikal Dughi. Milan landed roles in a number of TV Commercials for Maxwell House Coffee, One-A-Day Vitamins, Golden Raisin Crips and in locally shot Vancouver productions of Madagascar Pink, Groovy Vision, and Barnone.
Milan was instrumental in the creation and development in award winning projects based in North America like the reality based travel show for MuchMusic aptly named "6 Canadians on a Bus". The show revolved around 6 cast members, and 2 tour managers, who travel from St. John's, NFLD to Victoria, BC and experience all the cool things each city along the way has to offer. Along creating the concept, he also oversaw casting, scheduling and managing of the tour. Milan was cast as the "Tour Manager" and can be seen in a number of episodes.
