He was scheduled to direct the medieval horror feature, A Plague of Spiders for legendary producer Roger Coorman in Budapest in March 2005. The film was to star horror legend Christopher Lee. The project was put on hold when the Concorde-New Horiozns library and distribution arm was sold to Disney. this was to be his feature directorial debut.
