Born and raised in the Ozarks, Casey Austin is a composer, sound designer, and audio engineer experienced in writing for film, commercials, video games, and trailers. His creative process revolves around melding together unique timbres to discover abnormal, intriguing new sounds.
He has worked freelance with a wide range of directors, animators, programmers, producers, and other composers. His music has been featured in commercials for Life is Good, videos for the animation company Oddfellows, and online ads for progressive change in California. He worked as an intern for Jeff Rona (Devil May Cry 5, Far Cry 4, God of War 3) helping with two upcoming video game projects and a feature film. He also worked as an audio/mastering engineer for National Audio Company - the largest remaining professional cassette duplication company in the States - tasked with making large label artists' music (Post Malone, Ariana Grande, John Williams) sound great on any tape system.
He resides in Los Angeles spending his free time designing and building modular synthesizers from scratch and going on hikes with his wife.
