‘Tokyo Drift’ Saunters Out Of Old Mexico Into Neon GloryJustin Lin’s debut embodies the best of the Fast and Furious franchise.“You know those old Westerns where the cowboys make a run for the border? This is my Mexico. … Look at all those people down there. They follow the rules for what? They’re letting fear lead them. … Life’s simple. You make choices and you don’t look back.” — Han Seoul-Oh

The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift is the best Fast and Furious movie. I hold this truth to be self-evident. And that’s my piece for this week. Thanks for coming out. I kid! Just give me about twelve miles of runway to make my case.

Justin Lin crosses into a world of intoxicating coolness. Without that atmosphere, it’s impossible to understand why anyone would get involved with the Yakuza. The neon revelry in Tokyo is painfully lush. I

Donnie Yen Campaigns With Fans To Join The McU As Namor The Sub-Mariner

At this point, who doesn’t want to join the Marvel Cinematc Universe? Nearly every actor and their brother are either already in the ongoing massive franchise, in some capacity or another, or vying to get into it. Donnie Yen finds himself in the latter category, and alongside his loyal fans, he’s campaigning to work his way into the McU as Namor the Sub-Mariner, who might just get his own film in the near future.

In light of recent reports suggesting the superhero movie’s potential existence, Yen’s fans have begun Tweeting photos of the popular actor alongside comic book stills of the character, which the martial arts actor has Re-Tweeted throughout the day. That doesn’t necessarily mean he’s ruthlessly gunning for the job, but it does suggest that he’s, at the very least, interested in the project.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows producer reflects on box office disappointment, doesn’t think there’ll be a third movie

Despite facing a backlash of near-Ghostbusters proportions when it was first announced, the Michael Bay-produced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot proved to be a solid hit around the globe, earning close to $500 million worldwide back in 2014. With those kinds of numbers, a sequel was inevitable and sure enough it arrived this year, although Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows failed to replicate the success of its predecessor, grossing half the box office with $245.6 million worldwide.

Speaking to Collider, producer Andrew Form has reflected on the disappointing returns for Out of the Shadows, stating that they were happy with how the movie turned out, and aren’t quite sure why it failed to find an audience.

“We were obviously surprised at the box office results. We loved the movie,” said Form. “We loved making the movie. From our first Super Bowl teaser to everything we launched, we felt so good about our material,

Dick Wolf Celebrates 100 Episodes of ‘Chicago Fire’: ‘It Is a Dream Come True’

Dick Wolf Celebrates 100 Episodes of ‘Chicago Fire’: ‘It Is a Dream Come True’
“It is a dream come true for me,” Dick Wolf described his experience with the growing franchise based in the Windy City at a party held at Swift & Sons in Chicago Monday night.

The party was meant to primarily celebrate “Chicago Fire” reaching its 100th episode which wrapped shooting recently and airs later this year. But it was the spinoff “Chicago Justice” that was the subject of much conversation (besides the Cubs heading to the World Series, of course).

Wolf mentioned that “Chicago Justice” will premiere after Christmas but has yet to announce its exact air date. When asked what “Chicago Justice” brings to the growing franchise, actress Monica Barbaro who will play a whip smart Assistant State’s Attorney said, “It’s a true procedural. You can pick up anywhere in the season. I don’t think the other shows do that. You have to really know the characters.”

Chicago Pd Season 4 Episode 2 Review: Made a Wrong Turn

  • TVfanatic
It turns out Chicago Pd Season 4 Episode 2 is one of those episodes that feels trickier than it actually is. "Made A Wrong Turn" has its plot twists, but they're the plot twists you'd expect if you've watched this series long enough.

After the team finds a young man beaten near to death, Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer) and Atwater (Laroyce Hawkins) rush him to Chicago Med. With Nathan in the care of Chicago Med's Ethan Choi (Brian Tee), the race is on to locate his fiancee Sarah, who was nowhere to be found.

The fact that she's a young Caucasian woman missing from a predominantly African-American neighborhood only adds pressure to the situation, as does the fact that Nathan is nowhere near as innocent as he appeared.

Chicago already has enough of a PR nightmare.
