Chicago Med Spoilers Season 8 Episode 9: Will Choi and April Have a Happy Ending?
It will be the wedding of the season... or will it?

Everyone's invited to Choi and April's wedding on Chicago Med Season 8 Episode 9. Their union has been a long time coming; the last time they tried it, their relationship imploded thanks to April and Marcel's kiss.

TV weddings often don't go to plan, but since this is also Brian Tee's (Choi's) final episode, chances are there'll be a happy ending.

Spoilers say Choi and April will "encounter roadblocks" while preparing for their wedding.

There is never a shortage of patients in bad shape, so Choi may need to deal with a medical crisis that threatens to derail the wedding.

Choi's previous addiction to work was part of what killed his relationship with April before. But he's been a changed man since his shooting, so this will likely be a temporary obstacle.

Chicago Med's Ethan Choi Exit Story Explained By Producer

Chicago Med's Ethan Choi Exit Story Explained By Producer
Chicago Med producer and co-showrunner Andrew Schneider explains character Ethan Choi’s exit story in December 7’s episode. A former US Navy officer, Ethan — portrayed by actor Brian Tee — starts off fresh in season 1 as a Resident at Gaffney Chicago Medical Center, before progressively moving up in the ranks and finally becoming the Chief of Emergency Medicine in season 6. Ethan is one of few characters to have appeared for all aired seasons of Chicago Med, though this is about to change.

Schneider shares with People about the end of Ethan’s journey on Chicago Med season 8, and gives context on how that journey will wrap up in episode 9. He reveals that his story is closely tied to April (Yaya DaCosta) in two major ways, the first being their long-awaited wedding, and the second is their future working together in a mobile clinic, upon their departure from Gaffney. The Voice Recap: Did Viewers Pick the Right Top 8 to Go to the Semi-Finals?

The Voice Recap: Did Viewers Pick the Right Top 8 to Go to the Semi-Finals?
So close and yet so far. Just shy of Season 22’s Semi-Finals, two contestants were eliminated from The Voice Tuesday.

Based on the poll that followed TVLine’s recap Monday, the unlucky duo was going to be Team Gwen Stefani’s Kique and Team Blake Shelton’s Rowan Grace. Me — whether or not I have an ear infection — I’d have advanced Kique over Team Blake’s Brayden Lape; despite his way-better-than-average-for-him showing Monday, the teenage dream lacks the experience and/or instincts at this point to be a really compelling performer. (Great hair will only take ya so far.

‘Chicago Med’ Producers Reveal What Happens To Ethan Choi After Brian Tee’s Exit
Brian Tee, who plays Ethan Choi on Chicago Med, is leaving the show after 8 seasons on the NBC drama. His last appearance will be him tying the knot to April Sexton, played by Yaya DaCosta, and executive producers of the show are revealing what will happen to the couple after Tee’s exit.

“They’re starting a mobile clinic so that together they can take first-rate medical care to underserved neighborhoods in Chicago,” co-showrunner Andrew Schneider told People about the fate of Ethan and April.

Schneider said that Ethan and April would “remain in town” which leaves the door open for Tee to reprise his rule in the future. Although Tee will not be in front of the camera following his appearance on the Dec. 7 episode, he will return for Episode 16 behind the cameras to make his directorial debut.

Co-showrunner Diane Frolov talked about why it was decided to bring

The Voice Recap: Top Ten-sion Mounts as the Singers Aim for the Semi-Finals
Not to put too fine a point on it, but Season 22 of The Voice is a tricky-ass one. On one hand, we’ve got a handful of seriously talented contestants. On the other — as always, I suppose — we have no guarantee that our fellow viewers will vote through the seriously talented ones (like Team Camila Cabello’s Devix, who I already miss) instead of just, say, the cute one (Team Blake Shelton’s Brayden Lape) or the country one (Team Blake’s Bryce Leatherwood).

Nonetheless, there was nothing for the Top 10 to do Monday but their best, in hopes of

Chicago Med Spoilers: How Will Brian Tee Be Written Off the Show?
The One Chicago universe has said goodbye to many beloved cast members.

Their characters rarely find happiness on-screen, but it sounds like departing Chicago Med star Brian Tee will get a farewell that brings Ethan Choi's arc full circle.

If you watch Chicago Med online, you know Ethan and April are back together and planning their wedding.

Tee's final episode is set to air Wednesday, December 7, and People had an exclusive first look at Ethan and April's nuptials.

Co-showrunner Andrew Schneider told the outlet that the couple will be working together again.

More specifically, they will be “starting a mobile clinic so that together they can take first-rate medical care to underserved neighborhoods in Chicago.”

It's unclear at this stage whether either of them will be seen on the show again, but we do know Tee will be back later in the season to direct an episode.

‘Chicago Med’: First Look at Ethan & April’s Wedding in Brian Tee’s Final Episode (Photo)
One happy ending, coming right up! After learning Brian Tee was leaving Chicago Med, showrunners Andrew Schneider and Diane Frolov started planning one for his tightly wrapped Navy vet, Dr. Ethan Choi — ideally a farewell story that would include his ex-fiancée, nurse April Sexton. “We felt that was the way to honor Brian’s character,” says Schneider. “And to pay off the relationship with April,” Frolov adds. Their future together became clear in the hospital drama’s November 16 episode, when they surprised colleagues with wedding invitations! Not that there aren’t some hiccups. When the December 7 hour opens, it’s the evening before the nuptials, and April’s beloved father is experiencing chest pains. While she worries about his health, the bride and groom’s pre-wedding jitters worsen. “These are people used to being single,” Schneider says. “This is a huge step.” Fear not, vows are exchanged at historic St.

New Amsterdam Preview: Floyd's 'Going to Go For It' With Gabrielle Despite His Concerns, Jocko Sims Says
Dr. Floyd Reynolds is once again putting his heart on the line for a woman who may be unavailable on New Amsterdam.

In the show’s recently aired fall finale, Floyd and traveling nurse Gabrielle grew even closer, but at the same, the date for her move out of New York City also grew closer. However, compared to Floyd’s last relationship with Lyn Malvo — a polyamorous one in which she got pregnant with Floyd’s baby and moved away with her husband — might navigating his situation with Gabrielle be a walk in the park?

The Voice Top 10: The Contestant Who Is Likeliest to Win Season 22 Is…
Before The Voice whittled down Season 22’s Top 13 to its Top 10 this week, I was all set to write an article suggesting that Team John Legend’s Parijita Bastola was as unbeatable as, say, Season 21’s Girl Named Tom or Season 16’s Maelyn Jarmon. Because the series’ first Nepali-American contestant is just. That. Flawless. (To date, the teenage Adele has never even earned a grade from me that wasn’t in the A range — and you know how grumpypants I can be!)

But after Monday’s ear-popping performances — seriously, I was giving out A’s like they were party favors

One Chicago Co-Creator Exits NBC Franchise & FBI: International

One Chicago Co-Creator Exits NBC Franchise & FBI: International
Derek Haas, the co-creator of the One Chicago franchise, is exiting the popular procedurals. Haas first met with Wolf Entertainment, one of the production companies behind the shows, in 2011. He'd launch Chicago Fire the following year, which would lead to the spinoffs Chicago Pd and Chicago Med. All three shows have enjoyed lengthy runs, and are commonly referred to by fans as the One Chicago franchise.

Over the past several months, the NBC dramas have faced some high-profile cast exits. Most notably, and to the surprise and dismay of many fans, Jesse Lee Soffer left his Chicago Pd role as Jay Halstead with a storyline that proved divisive. Sarah Rafferty, Asjha Cooper, and Brian Tee announced that they'll be parting ways with their respective Chicago Med characters. Meanwhile, on Chicago Fire, Jimmy Nicholas recently exited as well. Now, the franchise is set to experience a big change behind the scenes.

‘Chicago Fire’ Co-Creator Derek Haas Exits One Chicago Franchise, Wolf Entertainment
Derek Haas, co-creator of NBC’s Chicago Fire and who also helped develop Chicago P.D. and Chicago Med, is stepping away from the One Chicago Franchise and Wolf Entertainment, Deadline has confirmed. He will exit next year when the current TV season concludes.

Haas is leaving to create new shows but is committed to wrapping up his work on the two series where he serves as co-showrunner, NBC’s Chicago Fire and CBS’ FBI: International, the last of which he co-created with Dick Wolf.

News of his exit arrives as Wolf Entertainment continues undergoing major changes to its roster of talent, though up until now, most of the upheaval was happening in front of the camera. Asjha Cooper was the latest cast to exit from Chicago Med, which has seen a lot of turnover of late. She follows Sarah Rafferty, Kristen Hager and Guy Lockard, most recently. Deadline confirmed

Derek Haas is leaving Wolf Entertainment. The writer and producer, who co-created “Chicago Fire” and serves as the co-showrunner on both the NBC show and CBS’ “FBI: International” will exit Dick Wolf’s company after finishing out the current TV season, Variety can exclusively announce.

“Although I am leaving Wolf Entertainment next year to focus on creating new shows, I’m entirely committed to delivering amazing episodes of ‘Chicago Fire’ and ‘FBI: International’ through the end of the current seasons,” Haas says in a statement. “I learned everything I know about storytelling, pace, characters, production values, and hiring the best cast, crews, and staffs from Dick Wolf and Peter Jankowski, and as hard as it is to leave a place you love and have called home for over a decade, including incredible support from Universal Television, NBC and CBS, I look forward to building my own brand in entertainment.”
