Sage Testini was born on April 28, 1991 in British Columbia, Canada. He is an actor, known for Augusta, Gone (2006), Tru Calling (2004), Off Season (2001), and Dead in a Heartbeat (2002).
Sage acquired an interest in filmmaking as a toddler with his obsession with video cameras, and later became interested in acting at the age of 8 years old after missing an opportunity to audition for the Oscar Mayer hot dogs casting call in a mall parking lot in Langley, British Columbia. While out shopping with his parents, Sage had spilled ice cream on his shirt and quickly returned home to change and learn the "Oscar Mayer Song", but by the time they had returned to the parking lot, the truck had already left. Upset by the missed opportunity, Sage enrolled in various local acting classes for theatre and film, where he was later put in touch with and signed to a talent agency in Vancouver. Sage landed his first role in a Tonka Power Tools commercial in 2000, followed soon after by various roles in radio, voice, commercials, television, and movies of the week.
In 2006, Sage went on hiatus after undergoing jaw surgery, in the meantime focusing on the remainder of his high school and university studies. He was heavily involved with the video production and drama departments at Walnut Grove Secondary School and has produced, wrote, and directed, comedic video shorts with his brothers and friends for various video contests and local film festivals.
Sage completed his studies at Simon Fraser University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, where he has also developed interests in graphic design, web design, and video editing.
