Craig McCracken’s “Kid Cosmic” is one of the best animated shows of the past few years, bursting with heart and imagination. And while it debuted on Netflix almost exactly a year ago, it has already cycled through three seasons and 24 half-hour episodes. And while it is sad to see the show go, it ends in a way that is both emotionally satisfying and extremely entertaining (we are forbidden from discussing details).

With the third and final season now streaming on Netflix, TheWrap spoke with series creator Craig McCracken about where the show came from and ending “Kid Cosmic” and concluding the series its own terms.

Secret Origins

The idea for “Kid Cosmic” struck McCracken back in 2009. “It really was just this odd kid that lived in this desert community and drove people, local truckers and staff, in this truck stop crazy. And he had found this object that he assumed was from space,...

“Pepper Ann” is coming to Disney Plus on Sept. 8.

The first three seasons of the fan-favorite ’90s animated series will be available to stream next month, with the release of Seasons 4 and 5 still unclear.

Created by Sue Rose, “Pepper Ann” follows the adventures of its titular redhead character and her friends and family. Known for its witty parodies and infectious theme song, the series tackled topics including body issues, school work and being raised in a divorced, single-parent household.

Kathleen Wilhoite is the voice of Pepper Ann, starring alongside Clea Lewis, Danny Cooksey, Pamella Segall, April Winchell, Cree Summer, Candi Milo, Don Adams, Kath Soucie, Tino Insana, Jeff Bennett and Jim Cummings. Rose executive produced with Nahnatchka Khan for Walt Disney Television Animation and Sunwoo Animation Co., Inc.

Disney Xd has cancelled its animated Wander Over Yonder TV series after the second season. Creator Craig McCracken broke the news that there would be no third season, on Tumblr.

The voice cast of Wander Over Yonder stars Jack McBrayer as Wander and April Winchell as Sylvia. Lord Hater is voiced by Keith Ferguson. Tom Kenny voices Commander Peepers. Sam Riegel recurs as Emperor Awesome. Fred Tatasciore voices the masked Lord Dominator. Noël Wells supplies the character's unmasked voice.

A slew of classic Disney movies are hitting for the first time on Blu-Ray, including one double-pack release, and you’re going to want to make sure to pick these up. You haven’t paid attention to some of these titles for a while, and it’s about time you got the chance to catch them on Blu-Ray. The best part is that there’s a great mix of releases hitting. Bedknobs and Broomsticks is all but lost in the cultural consciousness, and it deserves a return. The Academy Award-winning movie from the year I was born is filled with a lot of fun and adventure, and like most Disney films, holds up well for a whole new generation.

Now that "Breaking Dawn Part Two" has come and gone, the "Twilight" franchise has finally ended — at least until author Stephenie Meyer finds a way to bring it back. Meanwhile, the fandom is gearing up to join "Harry Potter" fans in its slow, err, fandom twilight.

But that’s no reason not to celebrate! Here’s a look back at some of the amazing things that "Twilight" and the "Twilight" fandom has given all of us over the last seven years — no matter how we feel about the books.

The Comic-Con 2012 schedule has now been released in full, and barring any major updates, is set. The blessing and curse of being an attendee is deciding which panels/autograph sessions/special events to attend, when they conflict. And they always do.
