Wilcoxon and Cecil B. DeMille had a falling-out after the release of The Crusades (1935). They did not speak to each other again for almost ten years. They eventually restored their friendship by the time DeMille was directing Unconquered (1947), in which Wilcoxon played Captain Steele. See more »
